Tastes Like Music is an interactive musical smorgasbord of comedy, beatbox, body percussion and freestyle. It’s music made-to-order where the crowd adds their own flavour.
There’ll only be 20 tickets on sale – all covid safe and within the health guidelines.

I designed the cover for Dan Prior’s excellent book Orphans.
It’s a great read, a well-crafted sci-fi story of young survivors of ecological disaster in near-future Australia.

I’ve not designed a book cover before, but Dan had a very specific vision for the front cover and sketch draft so all I had to do was refine his vision and bring all the elements together.
Adding the rear cover was an additional challenge which was somewhat unexpected, but I think I managed to make the covers visually connect front-to-back, which is a design principle which I love to see in book cover designs.
Unfortunately I won’t have a printed copy in my hands for a while as Amazon printing and shipping is disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s a sad irony that Dan’s dystopian fiction book is being delayed by the outbreak of actual dystopian facts.
6 Sydney artists – and more to come – are coming together for a fundraiser gig on Sat 1 Feb 2020.
Artists, our venue and organisers are all volunteering their time, with all monies raised donated directly to the Rural Fire Service account setup for families of firies who have lost their lives in the bushfires.

Ticketholders will be emailed the address of our secret warehouse before the show.
